My wireless device (Atheros AR9271 USB) keeps on getting soft blocked in the last month, apparently upon each reboot. Seemed to start happening after an upgrade. Any ideas why this is happening and how to prevent it? I'm forced to unblock using rfkill at each boot, then manually connect.

      Code:
$ infobash -v3

I'm still having this problem at every reboot. Have to unblock wifi and restart it. Then everything's good until the next reboot.
      Code:
$ rfkill list
0: hci0: Bluetooth
        Soft blocked: no
        Hard blocked: no
1: phy0: Wireless LAN
        Soft blocked: yes
        Hard blocked: no
alex@MSAK1:~$ rfkill unblock wifi
alex@MSAK1:~$ sudo ifconfig wlan0 up
alex@MSAK1:~$ sudo ifup wlan0

People often seem to fix this by blacklisting a module, but I don't know which one to blacklist.

Problem seems resolved after removing a few packages. I was about to implement a workaround.
      Code:
Start-Date: 2017-10-06  23:33:14
Commandline: apt purge network-manager
Purge: plasma-nm:amd64 (4:5.10.5-2), network-manager:amd64 (1.8.4-2)
